AYS provides a range of window cleaning techniques for external glazing, from the basic ladder through to the more advanced ‘reach and wash’ and abseiling techniques.

Internal glazing is also provided and will include not only the internal side of the external glazing (windows and doors) but also any glass partitions.

Reach And Wash

This method of window cleaning has revolutionised the cleaning industry as the benefits outweigh other cleaning methods, by far. The purified laboratory graded water is pumped through telescopic poles, delivering a bacteria-free clean to windows to heights in excess of 65 feet (5-6 floors).

The Reach and Wash system has little to no environmental impact as no harsh chemicals are required. It also avoids the disturbance of borders and landscaping so often found around a building.

On average, compared to other access methods, we save our clients over 40% of their total cleaning costs with the use of this safe and reliable system. All of the above makes this system the safest and most cost effective cleaning method with excellent results. We highly recommend it to our clients.​

Ladder Window Cleaning

It is not always practical or necessary to use the Reach and Wash system on every contract. This is why we regularly apply conventional methods of cleaning such as the use of ladders with the traditional bucket and squeegee. We are able to access and clean windows to heights up to 9 metres from ground level.​

All staff are highly trained and experienced in the use of ladders and have undergone safety courses, by a national recognised training body. Our clients can be assured that a safe method is being implemented at all times.​

Hydraulic Platforms (Cherry Pickers)

Occasionally some buildings cannot be cleaned or are impossible to access by using conventional or Reach and Wash cleaning methods. This may necessitate use of a hydraulic platform vehicle, allowing us to access windows and facades to a maximum height of 100 feet (9-10 floors).

AYS offers an abseiling service to complement the various other methods of high level window cleaning. All abseil technicians are highly experienced, fully insured and vigorously trained to the highest possible standards in rope access. We offer a competitive and cost effective solution to any high rise office or residential building.
